i need to know. my hair is brown, dark brown, red, and black right now.. i''ve died it so much. i want it blonde now and all my friends say its a stupid idea. what do u think? plus, with blonde hair people wont call me gothic anymore cuz i'm not. plz help me before christmas.!

here is my experience with bleach. it's a bad idea! Blonde is very cute but if you're going for that colour, go to a salon. Or else you're going to fry your hair and completely ruin it.

as for being gothic. let me get this straight again for everyone.

no ma' its a no no...ur going to mess up ur hair BIG TIME!! dnt do that u might end up bald..BUT wat u can do is dat u can make ur hair lighter but dnt bleach it all the way...or u can get some nice highlights

Take into consideration your skin color and tones, blonde may not be the best choice. For instance, if you have an orange/reddish tone to your skin, you may be better off with a strawberry blonde, or an light auburn. Also, please get this professionally done since you have already color altered your hair. If you attempt this yourself, it is very possible that the hair will break off where the colored hair and the new hair meet, if the chemical you put in your hair is too harsh. Listen to your friends, it's a stupid idea. Not everyone can wear blond hair. I've seen some and they look stupid. Go to a hairdresser and let them color your hair the right color. People may not call you Gothic anymore, but they will call you a dumb blond if it's not right on you.

if anything go a little at a time. and listen to ur friends. people on yahoo are never gonna see ur hair or problably even care about it a lot later from the time they answer it. blonde hair is sweet but its better to have dark hair than no hair so just be careful dying it too many times

hey,

i had my hair blonde, then got bored and dyed it black, then red, then decided to go back to blonde again. ive dyed it loads of times to get it back to blonde, using pre lightner then another colour, and its still a bit orangey. but if you really wanna be blonde do it. my hairs pretty strong so it is only a little bit dry and is recovering a bit now with some hair treatments.
